A vision is not just a picture of what could be; it is an appeal to our better selves, a call to become something more. Rosabeth Moss Kanter
What is your vision?
Your vision might be as simple as being a good human being and performing all duties that everyone in your family might prefer you to do. Your vision also might be a simple life style, appreciating the beauty of sunrise. Or, being able to treasure the growth of your family or friends.
All are good visions that the Companions In Grace Foundation would hope that you continue to treasure in your heart.
However, could you extend you circle of love? Could you attempt to hike a little higher up to the top of a mountain?
From there, you might be a able to have a better vision. From there, you might be able to recognize that your great talents could be valued to serve human kind. From there, you would be able to recognize that your financial contribution could be used for better ministry. From there, you would be able to have great asset to serve valuable ministries.
St. Terera of Avilia (1515–1582) entered a Carmelite convent when she was eighteen, and later earned a reputation as a reformer who experience divine visions. She wrote a poem that have been composed to a beautiful song:
Christ has no body but yours, No hands, no feet on earth but yours, Yours are the eyes with which he looks Compassion on this world, Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good, Yours are the hands, with which he blesses all the world. Yours are the hands, yours are the feet, Yours are the eyes, you are his body. Christ has no body now but yours, No hands, no feet on earth but yours, Yours are the eyes with which he looks compassion on this world. Christ has no body now on earth but yours.
Companions of Grace foundation has visions.
Our visions would be that we collaborate with God to build a better world. And you are part of this collaboration. We would like you to grow in love, and in the spirit of God. This is our fundamental vision to all!
We also invite you to review your past. You might be able to discover those special moments when God might have touched your heart, and invited you to do somethings great for your family, your community, or your nation. These are holy moments that are our visions to you: follow God's desire!
The Companions In Grace Foundation also has many members that come to the United State from Vietnam at the time of distress. We all had "American Dreams". We struggled, worked very hard in the past. For many of us, our "American Dreams" gradually became true beyond our imaginations. We do appreciate opportunities and resources that the U.S. has generous provided to us. Along these successes in America, we are aware of what makes America special: freedom, ideas, innovation, accountability, and professional development. And so, our vision would also obviously be that we might be able to transform these worthwhile endeavors to where we came from, Vietnam. We would like to instill good American values and endeavors to Vietnam people, Vietnam culture. At the same time, we respect the genuine, sentimental, caring compassion of Vietnam culture.
We are looking for good foundations, institutions, scholars, dedicated individuals who shared these visions. Together, we would transform these visions into reality with wisdom, and in peace.
